What a Weekend!

I cannot believe that it is already Sunday night :(  The weekends go by way too fast.  However, only 14 more school days until Spring Break...not that I'm counting already.
I went to Cincinnati this weekend to meet up with some other teacher bloggers.  These meet ups are always so much fun!!  We met at Champps and talked, and talked, and talked...for 4 hours!
I absolutely love hearing about other schools and classrooms and what works and what doesn't.  Meeting with such creative minds all in one room is, hands down, the best professional development.
I wish I would have had a chance to get a picture with everyone!! :(
How cute are these cupcakes?
It was a lot of fun and I now feel more recharged and ready to take on the last couple of weeks before Spring Break.
These amazing bloggers were in attendance.
Michelle from Fabulous in First
Rebecca from Darlin' in First
Christi from Ms. Fultz's Corner
Jessica from Second Grade Nest
Amanda from One Extra Degree
Lisa from Fourth and Ten

Afterwards, I made my way across the street and to IKEA.  I had never been in an IKEA before and had no idea what to expect.  Holy cow!!  It was so crowded and I was so overwhelmed.  Plus, we had a long drive back home.  Can you believe that I walked out of IKEA emptyhanded!!!!????!!!!
I stole this picture from Amanda.
To add to the excitement of the weekend, I was fortunate enough to be the Featured Teacher in the Teachers Pay Teachers newsletter today!!  Just click on the picture below to check it out.
